About Eliott

My name is Eliott Nathaniel Jacob. I’m 9 years old and 4 feet and 4 inches tall. I feel super short. I was born on July 20, 2009 in Berkeley.

The hospital was called Alta Bates. When I was born, I couldn’t breathe. The doctor hooked me up to a C-pap thing to help me breathe.

Ten days later I started to bleed rapidly and I couldn’t stop. So I went into an ambulance to the hospital. They had to wait for a special doctor to come to do stitches on an infant. I still have the scar from them.

Also when I was 4, my Dad and I went out to see the space shuttle going over. I had brought my little helicopter toy. I saw a cone and I dropped my helicopter in it. Suddenly, tons of wasps went flying out of the cone and started stinging me.

Soon, there were wasps in my shirt and in my pants. We had to go to the hospital too because my Dad wanted to make a check up after I got stung by tons of wasps.

Most of the rest of my life was boring, except for when I get car sick and throw up out of the blue. But I did get staples in my head.

(Dramatic flashback)

In Sonoma, I was playing on a hammock with my friend named Timmy. Then I fell off of the hammock and my head hit some bricks. It really hurt. I asked Timmy if he could see any major injuries. He said no.

Later, I was playing with bubbles. I tripped on a stair I kept forgetting was there, and my elbow and knee started to bleed. I ran inside to my Mom and Dad. They got me a band-aid to put on. My Dad rubbed my head and got blood on his hand. My Mom did the same and got blood on HER hand. They moved my hair and saw a big hole in my head! It turns out when I fell of the hammock, I got the big hole and Timmy didn’t see it.

We went to the hospital and waited 2 hours for a doctor and waited another 2 hours for the doctor to get ready. Finally the doctor got ready and she put staples in my head to hold the hole together.

(The worst part was that I missed s’mores that night because we came back about 1:00 AM!)

About 2 weeks later, a doctor took the staples out with a real staple remover. 1 year later I won the championships in baseball by one point and that was the last most interesting thing that happened for now.
